Jennifer Cohenmehr, MD / MPH

As a psychiatrist, my style is patient-centered and collaborative. I emphasize the use of multiple approaches to mental health including psychopharmacology, psychotherapy, and lifestyle modifications. My areas of expertise including anxiety, depression, PTSD, bipolar disorder, psychotic disorders including schizophrenia and schizoaffective disorder, substance use disorders, women’s mental health including peripartum mental health and pre-menstrual dysphoric disorder, and trauma. I enjoy caring for patients of all ages, and I have particular experience working with adolescents in student mental health. I also have training in psychodynamic psychotherapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and dialectical behavioral therapy. I believe it is important to integrate psychotherapy into my medication management visits with patients.
