Shanice Stephenson, LCMHC / NCC

With experience in clinical mental health, Shanice specializes in working with individuals facing severe mental illness. Her expertise encompasses a wide range of therapeutic interventions and evidence-based practices aimed at improving the quality of life for members. Currently serving as a Clinical Director, Shanice leverages her skills in leadership, program development, and team coordination to ensure the highest standards of care. Shanice’s passion lies in fostering a supportive environment that empowers both members and staff to achieve their fullest potential. Shanice is also a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) and National Certified Counselor (NCC). While working within the field of severe mental illness, Shanice’s passion grew which prompted her rigor to return to school for a PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision to further research in the severe mental illness population. Her committment in this field is driven by the need to assist individuals in increasing their quality of life, reducing symptoms and stigma, and enhancing social and emotional living with familial and community support.
