“Hi, I’m Dr. Lisa Borg, a diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, with double board certification in General Psychiatry and Addiction Psychiatry. I graduated magna cum laude from Columbia University and earned my medical degree from New York Medical College. I trained in Internal Medicine in San Francisco at Kaiser-Permanente Medical Center and completed my psychiatry residency at St. Vincent’s Medical Center in Manhattan. For 20 years, I had the privilege of serving on the faculties of The Rockefeller University and Weill Cornell Medical College in Manhattan. Currently, I’m a consultant to Sara’s Haven mental health clinic and Jamaica Hospital Medical Center’s substance abuse treatment Reflections clinic, both in Queens, NY, I’ve consulted previously with other clinics including Bridge Back to Life, Samaritan-Daytop Village, Project Renewal, and Arms Acres. At Amae Health in Manhattan, I’m available for initial psychiatric evaluations and follow-up appointments as needed. I’m passionate about being creative and innovative in using psychiatric medications to maximize mental health. I have extensive expertise in psychiatric diagnosis and psychopharmacology of very complex conditions. I’m here to provide compassionate and informed care.”
