Hi, I’m Dr. Lisa Borg, a diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, with double board certification in General Psychiatry and Addiction Psychiatry. I graduated magna cum laude from Columbia University and earned my medical degree from New York Medical College. I trained in Internal Medicine in San Francisco at Kaiser-Permanente Medical Center and completed my psychiatry residency at St. Vincent’s Medical Center in Manhattan. For 20 years, I had the privilege of serving on the faculties of The Rockefeller University and Weill Cornell Medical College in Manhattan. Currently, I’m a part-time consultant to NY Presbyterian Hospital in the Department of Occupational Psychiatry. I’ve also consulted previously with other programs, including Bridge Back to Life, Samaritan-Daytop Village, Project Renewal, and Arms Acres. At Amae Health in Manhattan, I’m available for initial psychiatric evaluations and follow-up appointments as needed. I’m passionate about being creative and innovative in using psychiatric medications to maximize mental health. I have extensive expertise in psychiatric diagnosis and psychopharmacology of very complex conditions. I’m here to provide compassionate and informed care.
