Lisa Borg, MD

Dr. Lisa Borg, MD is a diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology with double board certification in General Psychiatry and Addiction Psychiatry. She is a graduate of Columbia University magna cum laude and New York Medical College. Dr. Borg trained in Internal Medicine in San Francisco at Kaiser-Permanente Medical Center and then completed her psychiatry residency at St. Vincent’s Medical Center in Manhattan. She was on the faculties at The Rockefeller University and Weill Cornell Medical College in Manhattan for 20 years and is currently consultant to Sarah’s Haven clinic and Jamaica Hospital Medical Center (Reflections clinic) both in Queens NY. She has consulted to a number of clinics including Bridge Back to Life, Samaritan-Daytop Village, Project Renewal and Arms Acres. Dr. Borg is a psychiatrist consultant to Amae Health in Manhattan and is available for all initial psychiatric evaluations and all follow up psychiatric appointments as needed. She has very extensive expertise in psychiatric diagnosis and psychopharmacology and will be prescribing all psychiatric medications as indicated.
