Mel Hodor, LMSW
Mel is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) who graduated from New York University and has had a focus on clinical work in justice reform settings. She has developed client-centered programs for Emerging Adult Courts and Mental Health Courts in New York City, and provides clinical assessments, counseling, and group facilitation for individuals facing serious mental health challenges. Her work has also included supervising social workers and interns, advocating for clients in legal settings, and fostering collaborative solutions for individuals navigating the criminal justice system. Mel has experience working with a wide range of individuals living with housing instability, criminal justice involvement, mental health and substance use challenges and relational concerns. Mel’s individualized, strengths-based holistic approach encourages a safe environment, allowing each individual to feel empowered and confident in their own journey.
