I’m Daniella Deutsch, a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) with a Psychology degree from Skidmore College and a graduate degree from New York University. My professional background includes trauma-focused clinical work, and I currently work part-time as a group practice therapist at Well Williamsburg. I’ve also specialized in justice reform settings, where I’ve had the privilege of supporting programs for family courts, youth weapon diversion, Emerging Adult Courts, and Mental Health Courts in New York City. In my restorative justice work, I’ve provided clinical assessments, counseling, group facilitation, and legal advocacy for individuals navigating the justice system while facing serious mental health challenges. I firmly believe that everyone deserves a safe space to explore their understanding of themselves and to heal at their own pace. My goal is to create a warm, encouraging, and collaborative relationship with my clients, empowering them to build on their strengths while helping them gain new perspectives on their thoughts and behaviors. I approach my work through an anti-oppressive, emotion-focused, strength-based, mind/body, and trauma-focused lens, incorporating elements of CBT, CPT, ACT, and DBT. In addition to being a therapist, I’m a published author, and my artistic background allows me to integrate the creative arts into therapy as another modality for healing. It’s an honor to support my clients on their journeys toward growth and self-discovery.
