Hi, I'm Dr. Kristen Lee. I’m a psychiatrist with extensive experience in trauma recovery, PTSD, and complex mental health conditions. I earned my M.D. and completed my psychiatry residency at the University of California, Los Angeles, and hold a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Colorado. I specialize in treating PTSD, anxiety, and trauma-related disorders, drawing from both my clinical training and my firsthand experience serving in Iraq as a combat medic with the U.S. Army. Working in high-intensity medical and crisis environments gave me a unique perspective on the profound impact of trauma—and the incredible resilience of the human mind. I also provide care for individuals navigating depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, psychotic illnesses, ADHD, neurodevelopmental disorders, personality disorders, and OCD. I hold specialty certifications in reproductive mental health and bereavement care from the Seleni Institute, and I’m passionate about helping people rebuild their lives and find joy again after significant hardship. Outside of work, I love spending time with my family, hiking, relaxing at the beach, and traveling.
