"Hi, my name is Jacqueline Bohrer. I graduated from UC Berkeley in 2023 with a BA in Psychology on the Pre-med track shortly before attending and completing UCSD's Premedical Post-Baccalaureate program. During my time at Berkeley, I enjoyed doing community-based work. This included serving as head of the American Medical Women's Association's Diversity in Medicine Committee, volunteering with hospice patients, and founding a non-profit student organization dedicated to alleviating the financial barriers that can deter low-income and minority students from applying to medical school. In San Diego, I worked as a clinical research assistant in the Stress and Neuroimaging Lab. I am deeply passionate about the integration of biology and psychology in clinical settings, and I love being a part of the care team working with the patients at Amae. In my free time, I love photography, cooking, and spending time with animals. My future goals include going to medical school and becoming a doctor."
